Bangalow Palm Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana /Seaforthia
Excellent landscaping palm. This spectacular palm will be equally happy in full sun or indoor shade. It is also a very good container plant for a patio or large courtyard as its growth will be slowed but it will still be happy and healthy in a pot - keep well watered. Indoor (reaches 1-2m) or sheltered out (10-20m), indirect light, looks good in groups. Protect from winds. NSW, Australia

Cardboard Plant (Cycad) Zamia Furfuracea
Develops under ground to short stems to form a clump later. Arching leaves bearing still almost oval leathery blue-green leaflets to 400mm. Grows to 1m Indoors - hardy in good natural indirect light. Keep moist to dry. Outdoors - plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Frost tolerant to -2 degrees and coastal tolerant.

Chinese Windmill (Chusan Palm) Trachycarpus fortunei
A wonderful summer flowering fan leaf palm. This is one of the hardiest and easiest palms to grow. Slow growing palm with solid, fibre covered trunk. Tolerates cold and frosts. Our Windmill palms are mostly grown in the field. Grows to 10m. From China.

Dwarf (Pigmy) Date Palm Phoenix Roebelenii
Attractive dwarf palm, hardy for landscaping, well lit position indoors when young, or sheltered in the open garden, thrives on neglect, to 2.5m.

Furcraea Longaeva (Agave)
A very architectural succulent resembling a large soft Yucca with grey/green sword-shaped leaves. A white flower spike is produced on mature plants in summer. In fact this plant holds the record for the largest spike ever recorded on a plant, with one specimen having measured at an astonishing 13 meters in height (40 feet). After flowering the main plant dies out however the stem produces many new baby plants. Plant in full sun in a well-drained soil. Protect from hard frost. Height and spread to about 1.5m. Indoors, graceful, soft, fernlike palm, needs shade and regular wateringd, to 1.5m, multiple planted for effect, thrive in low light.

Nikau Palm Rhopalostylis Sapida
Originally from New Zealand Chatham Islands. Erect deep green almost stalkless slender leaves up to 2.5m in length grow on a slender close-ringed trunk 10m height. Purple to mauve flowers followed by red fruit. Hardy in all but extreme climates. Outdoors - protect from hot drying winds. Hardy to direct sun or shade, frost tolerant to -3 degrees with maturity. Moist soil. Indoors - requires good natural light out of direct sun. Moist soil. Easy care indoor plant, tub or patio plant.

Parlour Palm Chamaedorea Elegans
Graceful miniature featuring compact fine deep green fronds & ringed trunk 1-1.5m. Perfectly suited to indoor conditions, withstanding low light and temperature fluctuation. Hardy. Outdoors - only suited to warm areas, patio or sun traps - under foliage. Reported to tolerate frost to -4 degrees in a fully shaded, moist position.

Ponytail Palm Beaucarnea Recurvata
Succulent-like member of the lily family with swollen base & spray of foliage similar to a ponytail. Indoors, patio & conservatory in bright light to semi shade position, moist to dry soil.
